Pale “Live Sampler” (White Label)
They look like a gaggle of embarrassed swede pickers and while that’s not a positive for a career in the shit-trench, Pale are wringing some ankst from the combo of slash-jangle alternating with storm-force guitars and a quite bad, but could and should be very, very, very good voxman. Ah, now I got it, it’s kinda Jethro Tull metalling and muscling early Led Zep outta the joint. A classic case of a band needing to go into the chrysalis (no pun) of ‘development’, because “It Won’t Belong” could be a killer while the jazz-junkery of “Doctor Rub” is not what Pale should be about.
